Enjoy a nautical theme. A 2009 project by “Steeves and Rozema Group”. The same people who built the “Mariner & Venetian Villages” at 1500, 1510 and 1520 Venetian Blvd.
This building has eleven units on the main, thirteen units on the second level and fourteen units on the third. The one bedroom units typically range in size from 888, 968, 977 and 1050 square feet.
The two bedroom units range in size from 1,421, 1659-1700 square feet.
Most existing high rise condo owners would recognize these as being generous sized units.
High pitched rooflines, small false upper dormer windows, corner and side turrets designs incorporated into the exterior appearance. A strong border, at ground level, of natural stone (big blocks of stone) strategically placed at the base of this structure. Easy access to the underground parking garage and boat dockage on two sides of this building.
The exterior colours of this building are attractive. Two different shades of yellow, lime green and aqua blue. White trim, brown shingles, glass sided exposed balconies. Plenty of visitor parking. Given that this building is still fairly new, many people would like to live here.
We note that it is not uncommon to see boats still in the water as late as mid December. Well, only a few boats. On other Great Lakes, like Lake Erie, the boating season is noticeably shorter. Why is this? Well, one of the reasons is that the boating season is more predictable on the river than it is on the wide open waters of our Great Lakes.
