A quiet neighbourhood. Throw your frisbee or let your dog bark at the geese just down the street at Heritage Park Water Settlement Pond #1. This Fourth Line/Highway 40 little subdivision came to life twenty years ago and only in the last two or three years it has started to blossom out again. There are still farmers fields on two sides of this subdivision. Out of town visitors can get here quickly on main roads without having to drive through much of the city.
The correct address should read 1520 – 1526; 1528 – 1534; 1536 – 1538; 1540 – 1542 Heritage Park Drive. Two clusters of four one floor units and two clusters of two units. About one block away around a curve near the pond are two other blocks of two units each which share the same design and colour schemes.
Light brown brick and some units with light beige brown brick, light taupe grey accents. Brown shingles mostly but not all white garage doors. Some covered front porches and some just with covered front entrances. Cement driveways, bus at door which is surprising given its outer edge city location. Living here does create the need to have a car to make getting around easier.
These are freeholds meaning you are responsible for things like shingles and there are no condo fees. This is a style of living many people are attracted to.
